Mondays | 9:30 am - 11:30 am | Family Life Center
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a great way for moms with young children (birth through Kindergarten) to form relationships with other moms to share, learn, and grow in Christ together. No meetings at church during June/July/August. Play dates and Mom’s Night Out continue; for more specific information please visit our MOPS Meetup Page. Come Fall, meetings will resume in the Family Life Center and include breakfast and an informative speaker on faith, parenting, and other topics. Other weeks we meet at the Liberty Station Park for outdoor activities. During our meetings at PLCPC we offer childcare in the church nursery. The cost of this program is $100 for the semester (10 meetings) or a drop-in rate of $15 per meeting, which includes childcare. Payments may be made per meeting, per semester or per year; confidential scholarships are also available. To find out more about our chapter or to RSVP for upcoming events, please visit our MOPS Meetup Page. For childcare you MUST RSVP to Cynthia Hernandez. For more MOPS information contact Sarah Butterfield. MOPS is an international organization of local chapters. For more information about MOPS International go to http://www.mops.org
Community Bible Study
Thursdays | 9:30 am - 11:30 am | Chapel
CBS is a 30-week Bible study held from September to May. Our 2018-19 study is titled "Return to Jerusalem." We will be studying several books from the Old Testament. This course weaves through Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi. Working through these many books will give us the opportunity to see God working in history. It's a big picture of Israel's return from exile. The thread that runs through this study is God's mercy and faithfulness to His people.
You are welcome to join us at any time, as each lesson is independent. This inter-denominational Bible study is for women of all ages and backgrounds. We enjoy small group discussions and lecture. Are you a mother with small children? We have a children's program for infants through preschool age. They learn God's Word through memory verses, songs, stories and crafts. If you would like additional information, call the CBS Coordinator, Gail Bennett at (858) 268-3668 or .
