On June 7, the Point Loma Church community gathered for a joyful and meaningful milestone in the life of our church—the dedication of our newly renovated spaces.
After 18 months of construction, dust, noise, moving furniture, and navigating around work zones, it was finally time to come together in celebration. Members and friends of the congregation gathered to pray over the new spaces and give thanks for God's faithfulness throughout the journey. One of the highlights of the day was the first ceremonial elevator ride, a moment that symbolized both the completion of the project and the accessibility it now provides for our community.
During the dedication, Pastor Karla recognized the many people who played a role in bringing this vision to life. What began nearly nine years ago as an idea and a dream became a reality through the leadership, planning, expertise, and dedication of countless individuals. She also expressed gratitude for the extraordinary generosity of our congregation, whose faithful giving made it possible to complete this project without taking on any debt.

The impact of these new spaces was felt almost immediately. Within the first week, the spaces were serving ministry needs - from a recording session for our online worship service, to children gathering in the new Kids Worship space, and a night bright and breezy spot for our weekly Restorative Yoga class.

We look forward to welcoming you to campus soon. In August, we will host a community-wide open house once all the furniture, fixtures, and finishing touches are in place and the spaces are fully prepared for a new school and ministry year.
Thank you to everyone who invested in this vision through prayer, service, leadership, and financial support. Together, we have created spaces that will serve our church and community for generations to come.
