Trunk or Treat - Trunk Host
Host a trunk! All it takes is a trunk, truck bed, or a table and a touch of creativity! Candy is provided. Trunk-or-Treat is on Sunday, October 27 in the church parking lot on Udall St. Trunk hosts can begin set-up at 4:00 pm that day, and the event is from 5:00 pm - 6:30pm. Register today!
Join the Christmas Concert Singers
Experience the joy and celebration of worship and growing in your faith by making a joyful sound. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings starting October 3rd.
Help with the MOMs Toy Store
On December 14 we are hosting a Christmas toy store filled with toys donated throughout November for local military families though our mission partner MOMs (San Diego Military Outreach Ministries). Help bless families with this amazing toy store!

Front Desk Receptionist
Answer phones, greet and direct visitors; complete small projects.
- Weekly: 2-4 hours on a week day
Administration Assistance
Organize the donations, schedule flower arrangers, prepare mailings; complete other tasks.
- Monthly: 1-2 hours on a week day
Music Ministry Administrative Support
Help with copying, filing; organize the music
- As Needed: 1-2 hours based on special projects
Children & Youth: Do you enjoy the energy of kids and sharing the word of God? Invest in our future!
Brick Youth Assistant - High School
Come connect with high school students and support our energetic Youth Director during one of our Sunday youth groups. Guaranteed fun with an opportunity for mentoring in a group setting.
- Weekly: Sundays, 10:30-11:30 or 6pm-8pm
Brick Youth Assistant - Middle School
Middle school is a time of transition and learning about God’s purpose for our lives is critical. Be a role model for middle school students as you support our Youth Director during lessons.
- Weekly: Sundays, 4:30pm-6:30pm
Kid's Worship Volunteer - Elementary
Our dynamic elementary Children’s Ministry program is offered at both services for TK - 5th grade. Assist staff members in greeting students and leading fun and engaging Bible study activities. Interact with kids as they learn, grow and play during children’s worship.
- Weekly: Sundays, 8:45am-10:15am or 10:15am-11:45am

Make & Take Crafty Consultant
Make & Take is our event series where we gather to make a unique craft. Assist determining the craft for Make & Take events, getting needed supplies, and helping at the event.
- Quarterly: Events are held on a Thursday evening or Saturday morning for 2 hours; additional 2- 4 hours for preparation
Flower Arranger
With a partner, select and arrange flowers to be enjoyed during worship in the Sanctuary. After worship, these flowers are delivered to church members by the Deacons.
- 3-4 times per year on a Friday or Saturday morning
Media Assistant
Come hang with our media team on Sunday mornings and assist with displaying graphic slides, running camera and streaming video.
- Monthly: Sunday, 9am-10:30am or 10am-11:30am
Prayer Quilt Ministry Volunteer
Sew quilt tops, put quilt kits together, pray monthly for quilt recipients, or join in fellowship at our monthly meetings. Volunteers can chose which aspects of the prayer quilt ministry they would like to participate in.
- Monthly: First Saturday of the month 9:00am-3:00pm (stay as long as you like). Lunch is included.
Hospitality: Are you friendly and enjoy being a “people person”?
Family Jam Sandwich Social Host
Working with one or two others, prepare sandwich fixings, greet guests, and serve at our monthly family fellowship lunch. All ages attend in a relaxed atmosphere.
- Monthly: first Sunday of the month, 11:00am-12:30pm (pauses during summer)
Memorial Guild Team - Participants and Bakers
With team members, help set up, serve and clean up for memorial receptions that are held at our church. We also welcome bakers who would like to donate cookies to be served.
- 2-3 hours when a memorial is scheduled.There are three teams and each team serves 3-4 times per year.
- Bakers are contacted when there is a need for additional treats.
Usher/Greeter
As part of a team, greet worshipers, hand out bulletins, provide assistance during the service and clean pews after the service.
- Every Sunday for one month followed by three months off
Music: Are you a musician or vocalist willing to share your talents in worship for the glory of God?
Choral Ensemble Singer
Sing in a Choral Ensemble and connect to the congregation through music
- Monthly: Sunday, 8:00am-10:00am, first Sunday of the month
New Covenant Choir Singer
Sing in the New Covenant Choir connecting the congregation to God through a variety of musical experiences.
- Weekly: Thursday practice 7:00pm - 8:00pm and three Sundays a month 8:00am - 10:30am
Worship Band Member
Do you play guitar, drums or other instruments and/or sing? Consider joining our Worship Band and uplift the congregation through the power of music during our Sanctuary, Online or Chapel worship services.
- Monthly: 1-2hrs Sunday morning; varies by services
Bell Choir Bell Ringer
Participate in the Ringer's ReJOYce Bell Choir.
- Monthly: Tuesday, 6-7:30pm
Prayer & Care: Give of your time and love through these praying and caring opportunities.
Sunday Flower Deliverer
Join a Deacon after the Sunday service and deliver flowers to church members.
- Every 6-8 weeks: Sundays, 8:30 am-11:00am
Care Baskets
Join a Deacon in the preparation and delivery of one time basket/meal to share love with those in need. This may include new parents, grieving families, those who are injured, etc.

Red Brick Visitors
Join a Deacon at an in-person visit with homebound church members. Training Required.
