Count, tally, and enter Sunday giving information into recording software for the finance department.
Prepare church's monthly bank reconciliations with the finance department.
Use Google Sheets to schedule people to arrange Sunday flowers.
Answer phones, greet, and direct visitors.
Organize the donations that are placed in the New Day Mission Box.
Collect toys on the four Sunday's leading up to the annual store on the second Saturday of December.
Prepare materials for mass mailings.
Come connect with high school students and support our youth director during Sunday youth group.
Come connect with middle school students and support our youth director during Sunday youth group.
Assist staff members in leading activities with students during children's worship.
Make & Take is our event series where we gather to make a unique craft. Assist determining the craft for Make & Take events, getting needed supplies, and helping at the event.
With a partner, select and arrange flowers for Sunday. These flowers will also be delivered to community members after they are enjoyed on Sundays.
Sew quilt tops, put quilt kits together, pray monthly for quilt recipients, or join in fellowship at our monthly meetings. Volunteers can chose which aspects of the prayer quilt ministry they would like to participate in.
Decorate our worship and fellowship areas for Christmas.
Registration for these opportunities will start leading up to the event.
Red Brick Christmas is our our family-friendly Christmas event full of crafts, cookie decorating, and Christmas fun. Volunteers lead one of several craft tables or make and donate Christmas cookies.
Responsible for planning the themed decor for four spaces, gathering all materials, and leading volunteers during the build day.
Trunk-or-treat is our annual Halloween event where kids trick-or-treat at decorated cars. Volunteers host trunks for trick-or-treaters to visit! All it takes is a trunk, truck bed, or a table and a touch of creativity! Candy is provided.
Easter Fest is our annual Family Easter event. Volunteers oversee the various activities like crafts tables, bounce house, or food stations.
Prepare sandwich fixings, greet guests, and serve at our monthly family fellowship lunch.
Greet families and let them know about things happening around campus as they drop off their preschoolers.
Greet worshipers, hand out bulletins, provide assistance during the service, collect offering, and clean pews after the service.
Help with all-church events (cooks, sous chefs, decorators, servers, dishwashers, greeters, shoppers, etc.)
Help set up, serve, or bake cookies for memorial receptions that are held at our church.
Help plan and oversee men's ministry events like Prayers & Pints fellowship nights and the annual Men's Retreat.
Prep, cook, and serve lunch at senior luncheons.
Greet and check-in senior luncheon attendees as well as collect donations.
Set the tables and decorate the room for the senior luncheon.
Greet and check-in senior exercise class attendees.
Each of our ministry teams meets monthly to discuss the overall planning, vision, and direction of the ministry.
Help with copying, filing, and music organizing.
Sing in a Choral Ensemble.
Sing in the New Covenant Choir.
Help children rehearse their scripts and supervise them during children's choir practice.
Play guitar, drums, or other instruments, or sing at either the Sanctuary or Chapel worship service.
Use your musical gift to lead worship for the online community.
Sing in the choir during Easter Services. Rehearsals take place over the 10 weeks leading up to Easter on Thursday evenings.
Sing in the Christmas Concert Choir at the beginning of December. Rehearsals take place over the 10 weeks leading up to the concert on Thursday evenings.
Sing in the in the Summer Ensemble for 2 Sundays in July as well as August.
Participate in the Bell Choir.
Greet our community on Sunday mornings at the front entrance of the sanctuary. After the service, deliver flowers to select members.
Write and send cards to members in need of a little cheer, thinking of you, get well, congratulations or sympathy.
Operate a camera during filming or livestream events. No experience required.
Assist the media team with displaying graphic slides and streaming video.
