Steady progress is being made on the renovation of the classrooms. The walls have been painted, cabinets are installed, and the lighting and ceiling continue to be installed this week. Flooring is next! Then, we will be able to add all of the color, furniture and accessories to aid in growing the kids’ creativity and learning.
Resource and Break Room
This new Teacher Resource Room and Break Room is about six times the size of the one they were operating in. Complete with a kitchen, two large work tables and lots and lots of shelving for all of the materials needed to create engaging lessons for the kids! We are so excited to provide our teachers with a space they can do lesson planning and recharge. They deserve it!
An Outdoor Space Made for Play
We’ve installed a soft, safe turf surface perfect for running and tumbling, along with a sandbox that’s already a hit with our little architects and explorers. This space encourages imaginative play, physical activity, and social development in a setting that’s both fun and secure.
New Preschool Entryway
A pergola has also been added to the new preschool entryway, creating a warm and welcoming first impression for children and families. This inviting feature helps define the space and signals that what lies beyond is a place full of care, creativity, and joy.
