In 2011 when we were preparing to begin a renovation of our Sanctuary, the congregation at the time made a promise that the next renovation on our campus would focus on our children. More specifically our Preschool, which has been housed in two education buildings which have largely been untouched since they were built in the 1940s and 1960s.
This past Sunday, January 12, 2025, we marked the beginning of the fulfillment of that promise with the Groundbreaking Ceremony. While we are still waiting to receive the permit to officially proceed from the city, we feel confident in our faith to break this ground as a symbol of what is to come.
God has been in every detail of this project and we have had the privilege of bearing witness to God’s work in and through this community as we try to Love Everyone to LIFE with Everything we Have. Thanks be to God for opening up our hearts and hands for such a time as this.
