After a few weeks of demolition and loud concrete grinding, it feels like a peaceful oasis back on the church campus. The center building, which was affectionately known as “the library” has now been adapted to prepare for the installation of the much anticipated elevator. You can see in the photos below, the trenches that have been dug for plumbing.
Now we are awaiting inspections on all of the preparatory work before backfilling the trenches with concrete.

We got a real treat on Halloween, last Friday when the elevator arrived on site!

We continue to be grateful to our architect Jon Dominey, the Construction Management team at CBSI and Prava our General Contractor for keeping our work site safe and the project on track. Please continue to pray for the safety of our crew and for the procedures within the city to run efficiently.
