With the beautiful days and the smell of blooms in the air indicate the new life of spring is heading our way. The same is true for the Generation to Generation renovation project!
You can now begin to imagine the amazing patio that the Kids Worship space will have on the second floor. This patio will create a welcoming outdoor extension for children’s ministry and will also serve as the primary pathway connecting the elevator to the choir room on the second floor.
Exciting progress continues to be made inside the new spaces. All of the essential systems behind the walls—including electrical, data cabling, and HVAC—have now been fully installed. With that work complete, drywall installation is underway, giving shape to the rooms and allowing us to begin imagining how these spaces will soon serve our community.
Work is also progressing on the building’s exterior. The walls are currently being prepared for stucco, which is already visible around the newly constructed exterior staircase. Located next to the elevator on the first floor, outside of the preschool playground, this staircase will provide direct access to the Kids’ Worship spaces upstairs.
