What is your favorite Bible Verse/Story? and Why? Psalm 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God". This verse is one I repeat to myself when life feels chaotic or overwhelming as it reminds me that God is bigger than me or anything I go through. It helps me breathe.
-
What is your favorite hymn/ worship song? I really like the worship song "The Blessing" because the words have been spoken for generations past and will continue to be spoken for generations future. It gives me great comfort to know that I am part of a larger story of God.
-
What is your favorite color? I have never liked this question. How can I choose just one? I like them all!
-
What is your favorite taco shop? Definitely, Rubios. When my family travels outside of California that is one of the things we miss most.
-
What was your first job? Daycamp counselor for my township and flipping belly busters, which are gigantic burgers, at the local custard stand. I made $3.80 an hour which was below minimum wage. I still don't know how they got away with that!
-
Where is your favorite place in the world? There is no place like home, but a close second to that is my stepfather's farm in New Jersey.
-
Coke or Pepsi? Not even a competition, Coke hands down.
-
Red Vines or Twizzlers? Neither.
-
Dog or cat person? I am not really an animal person but would choose to pet sit a dog over a cat any day.
-
Favorite sports team? Growing up my favorite basketball team was the Detroit Pistons. Isaiah Thomas was in poster-form all over my bedroom walls. I thought for sure I was going to marry him! Now I enjoy watching LeBron James play but was disappointed when he went to the Lakers. My husband is a HUGE fan of the Lakers and the competition is fierce between us so having James on the Lakers has left me in a sports quandary.
