Start the Lent season together at the Ash Wednesday Worship service on Wednesday, Feb 18 in the Sanctuary and on livestream. We will reflect, share communion and conclude with the imposition of ashes. There will be a special Kids and Youth Worship service for kids ages 4-11. Nursery care will be available for children age 4 and under.
This year for our Kids’ Ash Wednesday Service, we’ll be creating a "Big Collaborative Path to the Cross." Each child will add their own footprint (decorated with a simple prayer or drawing) to a large path we build together down the center of the room. Once the path is complete, every child will have the opportunity to walk down it and receive ashes for Ash Wednesday at the cross. This activity is for kids ages 4-11 (Kindergarten through middle school) in the FLC. Nursery care for 4 and under is also available. No registration necessary.
