It's All About Relationships

The early Church had to figure out many things about its purpose, identity and how it would carry out God's will. The diversity of ideas and opinions put great pressure on the early leaders and on the church at large. The gifts given to individuals by the Holy Spirit helped push the early church to the realization that God was shaping the church to reflect His purposes and will, driving the church to recognize its total dependence on God's Spirit to guide and direct. The diversity of gifted people, working to serve God helps us discover that relationships are critical for being God's church.
